Just want to say a very special thank you for such a wonderful send off for my Dad.
The horses and carriage looked magnificent, and the fact that Dad was driven in such style around Ashford on his final journey, made a sad day a lot happier for us.
Following the hearse and hearing the soothing clip clop of the hooves also made it a comforting journey to the cemetery.
The horse certainly put us through our paces, and our walk up the hill in Kingsnorth was memorable. And has made me realise just how out of condition we all are. But it was lovely and wouldn't have had it any other way, it certainly made us smile. I know Dad would certainly have enjoyed the whole spectacle of the day.
