Our
horse drawn wedding carriage is an original Victorian Landau built in Scotland in 1860.
It was purchased by us in 2002 in a dilapidated state and we have
worked hard to restore it to its current pristine condition so that you may enjoy this perfect carriage on your wedding day.
The upper quarters (hoods) of the Landau are designed to be opened
and folded back in opposite directions. This procedure only takes
a matter of seconds allowing for an entirely open carriage, perfect
for sunny days; or they can be closed completely if the weather is
unkind. This means that whatever the weather, you will be assured of arriving at your wedding venue ready to make the most of your special day.
Painted in ivory and black the Landau is a particularly elegant vehicle ideal for weddings and special occasions.
The meticulous care and attention to detail of the original craftsman,
the laborious restoration and day to day upkeep of the carriage, mean
that it is as stylish and charming today as when it was first used
over 150 years ago.
