FAQ's
Q.
The distance between my house and the church is not far but it's
over 10 miles to the reception. What can you do?
A. We can either take you to the church only
or we can take you to church, wait while you have the ceremony,
you can have your photos taken with the horses and carriage and
then we can drop you off a mile or so down the road and let you
go the rest of the way in a hire car.
Q. How many people can fit in the carriage?
A. Up to four people though in most cases the
bride and her father travel to the church and the bride and groom
travel from the church.
Q.
My daughter is only six years old. Can she have a ride in the
carriage with me?
A. Unfortunately our insurance will only cover us to carry passengers
over eight years old. Sorry!
Q.
Can my guests and I pat the horses?
A. Yes, there will be plenty of time outside
the church while you are having your photos taken. Please do so
at your own risk! The horses are all very friendly and well trained
but are still animals with minds of their own.
Q.
What happens if it rains?
A. The hoods of the Landau can be quickly closed
so that you are warm and dry inside a completely closed carriage.
Q. I
live in a busy part of London; do the horses mind the traffic?
A. Absolutely not. They have been through tunnels,
over bridges, past road works and through heavy traffic. Remember
– the streets of London were originally designed for horses!

in advance as is convenient for you but we will contact you to
reconfirm nearer the time.
Q.

Can you help?
